VOSibilities podcast #18: ActiveVOS 6.0 demonstration

October 6th, 2008 by Alex Neihaus

Recently, we posted an avi of our Flash animation in this podcast feed. And we learned a lesson: even though the Flash concepts-and-facilities animation was readily available on our corporate website, the avi we put into this feed was also exceptionally popular.

To borrow a line from a VW commercial that I really, really hate: “The people want the content in the podcast feed.”

So, we’re repeating ourselves. (-: Today, I am pleased to post an avi and iPod-formatted .m4v of the overview demo of ActiveVOS 6.0. In just a few minutes, you’ll see how you can create SOA and BPM applications using standards like BPMN, BPEL, BPEL4People faster and more easily than ever before. You’ll also see how you can use ActiveVOS to control the overall state of the business, using our new BAM and BI capabilities. We even show you how to use our new complex-event processing (CEP) engine to “tell the story” of your business.

All this, and plenty of familiarity for Java developers, in a single, affordable product. No wonder the link to this demo on our corporate site is one of our most popular links…and I expect this link will become as popular.
